Florida Performance Cars is pleased to announce the arrival of this STUNNING 2018 Ferrari 488 Challenge Race Car. This example left the factory finished in Rosso Corsa with vinyl sponsorship decals, a #14 on the upper portion of the windshield, and a race-prepped cockpit. Current odometer indicates 7,200 kilometers (~4,500 miles). It is powered by the standard 488 GTB twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 with modified lightened exhaust system and specially tuned engine management software - for a factory-rated output of 661 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is also a standard 488 GTB a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox, modified with Challenge-specific shift programming and an electronic limited-slip differential.
Equipment includes a Challenge-specific aerodynamics package, Brembo calipers, 19" Motegi Racing center-lock wheels, an air jack system, a VBOX camera and data acquisition system, air conditioning, a Motorola radio system, and a roll cage as well as a Sabelt steering wheel, carbon-fiber race seats, and six-point harnesses. The aerodynamics package includes a front splitter, canards, and brake cooling ducts as well as side skirts, a rear diffuser, and an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing. Silver-finished 19? Motegi Racing center-lock wheels wear 275/675 front and 315/705 rear Pirelli slicks. The ABS and traction-control systems can be adjusted via dials on the dash and steering wheel. The Formula-style steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub ahead of carbon-fiber shift paddles and features LED shift lights along with driver switchgear and controls that complement those found on the carbon-fiber center stack. The configurable digital display incorporates a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a gear position indicator, a speedometer, and a lap timer.
